White or Grey?
Hey There, What color were factory steel wheels on these trucks?(67-72)
Did it change from 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton? Did the hubcap style(chrome/painted) determine the color? Thanks for the info

Re: White or Grey?
I have a 68 1/2 ton, it came with silver rims and chrome dog dish hubcaps. I have seen the rims painted all sorts of colors, and same with the caps.

Re: White or Grey?
Black for 67, silver for 68 and 69, white for late 69-72.If a 67 had a white roof the wheel was body color. Rings on 3/4 tons split rims were grayish silver for all years. The hubcap color matched the wheel color for all years, except 67. Chrome caps on deluxe models.
