light switch help
ok so i was trying to remove my light switch tonight and failed miserably i might add. a while back, when i rewired the entire truck, somehow i managed to wire in my front running lights with my break lights, so when i step on the breaks, the front park/running lights come on. so i went to take a look at the switch and compare the switch to the schematics that i have acquired and i couldn't get that damn shaft to release from the switch body, even while pressing the button on the side of the switch. anyone got any tips/tricks with a stubborn switch?

Re: light switch help
pull the light switch to the on position, then push the button in, and it should come right out.

Re: light switch help
oh, well maybe i was just having one of my "special" moments. i'll give that a try here soon. today i am going to go down to everette to see the USS Abraham Lincoln pull in from its 7 month deployment and pick up my girlfriend(that was the ship my squadron was on for this 7month deployment). the ship is getting back a few days after my squadron got off in san diego. also i'm having difficulty trying to figure out what wire is supposed to go to what pin on the light switch cause my diagrams aren't all that clear so i will attempt to post photos of the switch itself
