Found some clear lenses

So I was cruising ebay and found some clear lenses, not a big fan of the look but they seem to be pretty hard to come by and I think they might look good if they were tinted/smoked. I'm going to see what they look like on my blazer, opinions?

Re: Found some clear lenses

It's not 2000 anymore....

thats just my opinion... but I like 20's and 30's cars and it aint then either....

They may have potential to look cool if tinted...

I think a red tint from the inside might be cool. Not too sound like a smart ass... I saw an article on this in some import tuner magazine and the tails turned out pretty cool.... I just can't find it now

Re: Found some clear lenses

I personally can't stand the clear lenses. Most cases it takes away from the look of the vehicle to me...

Re: Found some clear lenses

They don't really look good on black trucks.

I just have not got around to changing them out. I always got alot of interest from people looking to buy them off me but I am going to hang on to them just because. They might look real good smoked. I was surprised to see those on Ebay. Do you know who made them? I had to ad a strip of red reflective tape to mine to pass safety inspection in TX.
The issues come with getting colored light bulbs. The boots don't last and LED's are not as bright

Wow we must be the only two on the board with true clears.

Re: Found some clear lenses

I don't think there too bad. I think they look nice with the silver tailgate trim. I think the altezza style ones are too rice-y. I got a set that I had on my old suburban that I may use on my '86 pickup when it's done.
