Just curious about how much POR-15 did you go through painting the frame and suspension parts?

ok, thanks for the info. Did you do the 3 - step process or just paint with por-15. I have heard people doing it either way.

I did the marine clean, then metal prep, then paint. Have seen if you don't do the prep work,, it will easily peel off.

What process did you use to por-15 your frame? Did you sand the frame or have it blasted? Did you take it apart completely? I am getting ready to do mine with por-15 as well and would like some help on the best way to go about it. Thanks

Anything that could be taken apart was disassembled and sandblasted except for the rear end, I cleaned it manualy. Be prepared for an all day job on the frame, it takes at least 2 coats and you have to put second on before first dries.

Damn nice dude. Do you have a pic of the brushes that you used? How long did it take before it started drying on the first coat? Also have you done any of your sheetmetal under the hood?
