O ke Im putting 2in spring on the front do I have to use a shorter
shock or can I use stock ones? Will I have alighnment problems becuse I'm useing springs and not spindles? If I aim I might not lower it till I can afford spindes. I did a seach to answer this but it was not cut and dry one way or anther so I realy would like to her from someone that either dose this for living or has first hand experince with this. thanks Moose

Moose, I have 2 inch drop springs on mine. I used some standard length shocks on my truck although I haven't had any problems I would go ahead and opt for the lower shocks, they aren't very much more in price from what i've seen in magazines. I haven't had any noticible problems with my alignment. I've had the 2 inch drop springs in for a year now and the tires seem to be wearing evenly. I hope this helps out some.

I have order, but not received yet, front shock relocator from Tuner. They put the top shock mount in a much better position and move the mount point up 2 inches. The white dot on the pic is the approximate location of the stock top shock mount 42 bucks plus 8 bucks shipping.

They do not have alot of info on the web site and they yet to have any type of magazine with more elaboration on thier stuff. I have been talking to them about a coilover system for the front though.

Another place to look is Early Classic Enterprise. They have complete kits and are seemingly competent when it comes technical questions.

70 longbed is right, the guys at Early Classic know what they are talking about when it comes to our trucks. I have never been to Turners because they are a brand new company, but Early Classic is a cool place to visit. They actually make all there own parts, and they have been around for over 10 years. Thats the reason I bought their entire lowering and disc brake kit. I couldn't be happier, it rides and stops like a new truck.

spindles have no geometry affect on a truck all they do is raise the mounting of the wheel itself i happen to have used both a 3.5 inch drop spindle and 2 inch spring still using the stock shocks with no prob...although speed bumps at a fast speed put a big dent in my lower control arms but if i had to do it again id use spindles and control arms and have nothing to do with the clearance on shocks or anything everything should all bolt up theese just change the location of the wheels themselfs....hope this helps...Steve
