New cab mounting hardware

I have an 84 running chassis. I think I've found a 86 cab for it. The problem I have is cab mounting. I'd like to put the PST polygraphite cab mounts on it, but they require reuse of your old hardware. Since I have a bare cab and chassis I don't have the cups, sleeves or bolts. LMC will sell me the bolts as part of the mounting kit, but I really don't want the rubber body mounts. Does anyone sell the bolts seperate? And am I basicaly on a j-yard search for cups and sleeves? Or am I missing something? Thanks!

Re: New cab mounting hardware

you can use grade eight bolts from any hardware store the cups and sleeves youd have to buy elsewhere
do you have pics of the cups you need?

Re: New cab mounting hardware

No, I'd have to disassemble one of my complete trucks for that, and I'm not quite up for it. Any guesses on the bolt size? I want to say someone said 1/2" x 3 1/2". Are all the cab and rad support bolts the same?

Re: New cab mounting hardware

If you get the PST kit, all you need are the bolts. My PST kit came with everything except the bolts. I have a set of bolts that I am keeping for the cab swap on my 77, but can measure them for you late tonight when I get home.

Re: New cab mounting hardware

They should be, unless they went to metric sometime in the 80's

Re: New cab mounting hardware

Ah, I revisited the PST site and see they include washers and sleeves. The 'must reuse existing hardware' is what threw me. I found one cap on an old mount , it's a cup-shaped washer about 4" accross, seems to go on the top between the rubber and the cab. But it looks like the PST kit has new flat washers in it.
Assuming that the rad support uses the same, I'd need 6 bolts. If someone can get me the measurement it's probably cheaper to buy them locally then have them shipped.

Thanks, Roland
