pait or not to paint

Well I know this is an old one but I did it, I painted the bike but only because I wrecked it I left it out in the elements for the majorty of the summer and the laquer paint of the 80's didnt like it but It's all good It looks better and I did some tinkering while it was down and it now runs great.
Oh and the bike in the first pic was not my bike altho It was PERFECT before I bought it and left it out side.

Ya I was thinking a gold leaf 14 on the tank and choping down the seat and putting some flat bars on it but I wont get to that this year, I will probly do it when I get back from afganistan, got to leave in a few weeks.
