ring gear
Does any body know what the torque specs. are on the ring gear bolts for a 12 bolt eaton posi diff.?
Also what are the torque specs for the carriers bearing cap?

Are you using a 1 ton axle in your K-10?
The torque specs listed are for a 1 ton axle. Jim

the overhauk manuals are available as reprints from most vendors on the site or are common on ebay price is around $25plus shipping about the best money you can spend on your truck

The torque specifications for the 1/2 ton ring gear bolts is 50 lb./ft.
The torque specification for bearing cap bolts is 55 lb./ft. Jim
