Re: Here's a few of our trucks at Hershey Park

Thanks for sharing those pictures. That place is huge, ain`t it?I was going on Friday, but all three of us sll decided we realyy had things that needed done. This time of year is easy to find some way to enjoy the last of the good weather when we have to make time to get things done before bad weather, too.I`m always having problems with that.I don`t want to be a squirrel caught stashing nuts with his pants down.

Hershey is the mother of Carlisle. It was first and also an AACA show event.Back in the early`70s they wouldn`t let Vette parts in because they weren`t antique yet. They really regulated what was sold there. It was the old stuffy crowd we used to find in the old car hobby. The two Miller boys tryed starting their own show in California and it never took off. They came back to Carlisle and got it going and the rest is history. They bought the fairgrounds and rent it back for the fair and other events.

Yes! Hershey Park, Pa U.S.A. Your right, It is primarily a Vintage Show but there were some classics from the 50's, 60's and the 70's.

Tim, WOW! What a show. They say there's over 9000 vendors. No wonder it's the entire week. We only went on Friday and probably only seen a 10th of the show. The weather was absolutly incredible. I normally go to Englishtown in New Jersey and in the Spring 2009 were gonna go to Carlisle but this, was a great show.

At first i thought,"Only 9,000?",then realized at Carlisle it`s 8,500 vendor "spaces" not "vendors".It`s 1/2 again bigger than Carlisle,I`d guess.

I heard 9000 Vendors. I could be wrong. Either way, I'm from South Florida and I thought the Daytona Turkey Rod Run was huge (It Is) But Hershey, I've never seen anything like it.
