Anyone running 9" wide wheels?
I just ordered a set of 17 x 9" Dick Cepek wheels for the wife's 3/4 ton Burb. We will be lowering it about 4/6 and running a nice street type tire, not all terrain style. Does anyone have any pice of this width wheel on one of our Burbs. It has a 0 offset 4.5" backspacing. I figure it is only about 1/2" wider on both sides, but I'm still concerned. Any pice would be great!
Thanks. SHawn

Re: Anyone running 9" wide wheels?
This prob won't help, but I was goofing around one day and installed an wheel and tire from my 99 3/4 ton on my 69 3/4 ton, it was a LT285/75-16. Just sitting in the driveway it cleared the fender no problem.
I like your idea, I've been thinking about doing the same. I can't wait to see pics.

Re: Anyone running 9" wide wheels?
9" wide with only 4.5" BS seems like it might stick out too far. I have 9" with 5.5" BS in order to tuck them. But they are 22's with 305/40's so you might be OK depending on what tire you go with.
