Hello from Oceanside, CA.

Howdy all!

I'm a long time lurker, but, finally decided to register!

A little history on my truck.. it's a 1970 Chevy C/20 2wd long bed. It has been in the family since new. My Grandpa bought it mainly to use on camping trips, and general city truck use. My Grandpa then sold it to my Dad in the mid 80s. The motor blew when I was 14 and I was able to convince my Dad to sell it to me. My Dad and I built a 350 4 bolt main for it, and it's been on the road ever since. It was never my daily driver, and the engine has less than 20k on it since we built the motor. I joined the Marine Corps in 2005 and spent two years in Japan, and just recently got back to the states. Now, since I got settled I arranged shipment of the thing, and it's on its way here.

The truck is in great shape mechanically, but cosmetically, it needs restoration, so that is first on the list. Then, suspension. While it's not the best platform for it, my plan is a pro street type deal.

I only have one crappy picture for now.
