Re: Installing Bear Claw Latches
hope these pics work. lock cylinder has a cable running to a little box. the cable pulls a lever to which a rod could be attached. the rod would run to the bearclaw latch

Re: Installing Bear Claw Latches
I put the latch on the cab to keep the solenoild dry. I open the door mech. from a threaded rod that is bolted to the latch & has a alum knob att to the other end...you push the knob down to open from the inside or hit the botton on your key chain to activate the solenoid.

Re: Installing Bear Claw Latches
Well I figured since I was updating the doors I might as well do some work to the motor...........I install a Howards crank (big block snout, small block crank) because I had been having problems with spinning the balancer on the crank......turned into quite an expensive fix...........here are a few pics.....

Re: Installing Bear Claw Latches
also if anyone is interested in a complete disc brake setup for a Mustang II front end, here is a pic of the one I took off of the truck. It has probably less than 500 miles on it and the calipers are ceramic coated........I will be taking the backs off soon and they are for a F@#D 9" with internal emergency brake and ceramic coated calipers as well.............just make an offer.............

Re: Installing Bear Claw Latches
Well it has been a while since I have added to this thread............here are a couple of pics that I took today after I got the electric openers working.........it turned out to be a very easy conversion and I used the original rod that was between the door handle and the latch.......hopefully these pics will show what is involved, however, if you need a specific part addressed let me know.......
