Re: Cleaning out my stash - a LOT for sale (Vintage Air, 700r4, etc) - Toledo, Ohio

lks dcvn,
Two questions really quick. First, in the description it says it connects using your deluxe controls. I have been assuming that meant the A.C. Controls. That is correct right? This system doesn't use the heater controls does it? Second, if you will send me your paypal addy I can just paypal you the total with 35.00 for shipping. Then if is right you can mail it off without making a second trip. If it is more for shipping I can send you the difference. If it is less, you keep the difference. How does that sound? Would that work for you? Please add insurance to cover the cost of replacement if damaged (approx 650). If it increases the shipping I will pay the difference. Let me know.

Re: Cleaning out my stash - a LOT for sale (Vintage Air, 700r4, etc) - Toledo, Ohio

LWB Bed - solid bedsides - but floor has holes in it - could be great for hauling wood or scrap - no tailgate - $70 obo

1967 LWB Truck - no motor/trans - basically a cab (rusty on the bottom), frame (straight and solid), bed (wood floor) and a tailgate (not great condition - but it works) - interior has been stripped - but it can go with for some extra $ - I do have a clear MI title for this one. Newer tires and rims. $500 obo - you can sell parts (core support/grill/tires/tims/etc.) off this and recoup your costs.

1972 Rolling Chassis - from TX - surface rust only - straight. Trailing Arm frame with 5 lug rollers on it. If you buy this I will throw the LWB (bed) mentioned above on this for you for free and include it in the price - $150 obo

Don't toss these yet, I'm interested in some or all of it. I'm in Bucyrus Ohio.

Was the 72 chassis a LWB C-10? 5-lug all the way around?

How rusty is the '67 cab? Vague question I know, but still....

Was the 72 chassis a LWB C-10? 5-lug all the way around? Yes on both counts LWB and it has 5 lug rollers on it now that don't hold air well - but I could pump them up to get it rolling around again.

How rusty is the '67 cab? Vague question I know, but still....

Rusty near the bottom -

floor - patched with sheet metal and rivets by PO - only on edge - center of cab is pretty solid
rockers - created with sheet metal and riveted in - not too bad a job actually
inner rockers - gone
cab supports - there somewhat - obviously rusting away - and need serious work
corners - I can't remember - but can check if you are interested

Short answer - could it be used today - no, could it be easily saved if you have a knowledge of welding - yes.

STINEY If you take all that stuff - I will give you a bulk discount on these items...let me know. I can get pix of whatever you would like to help your decision one way or another.

PM me for details if you want.

Thanks

Do you have pics of the buckets? Are all the brackets included? How is the foam? It seems like a decent price, pending pics, but my funds are tight right now, is the price negotiable? I could pick up.

Re: Cleaning out my stash - a LOT for sale (Vintage Air, 700r4, etc) - Toledo, Ohio

Blazer utility buckets - yes - brackets are included at that price (they were removed to make storage easier, but I have all the bolts, etc.). I will need to dig them out of the back of the garage to get pix. Can't remember the foam situation...pix will help I am sure. Long roof - let me know after you see pix what price you are thinking and I am sure we can agree on something.

700r4 - There is a rebuild sticker on it, but I have no idea when it was rebuilt. As mentioned, I bought it off another member about 6 mos ago and then I bought an extra truck that had the motor/trans and swapped it over - making this extra stuff in the garage. He (the PO) said that it was rebuilt and that it was ready to go - but we know how that goes. It may be in great shape - but I am not out to screw anybody - so I don't want to promise that since I never ran it in a truck since I have had it.

68 LWB Bedside - it is the driver side and it is in great shape (some pix are in this post already) - I have no idea how I would ship this since it is heavy, awkward and in great shape (I would hate to see it damaged in shipping).

I will get more pix of this stuff later today. I am heading back out of town for a few hours...

Thanks guys.

OK - my work schedule and the daylight hours are not cooperating.

I will be home this weekend (first time in many weeks) to get the stuff moved around the garage and get the pix of the seats you have been requesting.

Sorry for the delay guys.

I'm still thinking about that trans, i wish there was a way to find out if it has been rebuilt..
ive been kinda screwed over in the past..
and with limited funds i wouldn't have the money to rebuild it, if it did need to be rebuilt.
but hey maybe id get lucky
