anyone know what my original jack is supposed
to be? Hi, I am trying to restore my 72 C/10 Super Cheyenne I just bought back to its original condition. It will be a long road because it needs many parts that are broken or missing.
So before I get a flat tire I need buy a jack and I would like to buy the correct one. The guy at the Chevrolet dealership said it was a bumper jack, the kind that hooks under the chrome bumper and has a tire iron ....is this correct? Any help ( a picture would be the bomb) is appreciated and if anyone needs help figuring out what the heck goes where I may be able to help. |

Re: anyone know what my original jack is supposed
First, welcome to the board from Seattle. Where in LA are you? I grew up on the PV Penninsula and my brother lives near Santa Monica.
I believe it should be a scissor jack, but I'm not an expert on the pickups. This thread should be in the general pickup message board for better response.
