Will this Carpet fit???

Hello

I started working on a 78 2wd and I want to replace the rubber floor mat with the carpet I left from my last truck. I have charcoal carpet from classic ind, will the carpet from a 82 go into a 78. They are the same truck column auto , small hump, reg cab with bench seat. Can I use this carpet in my 78???

Re: Will this Carpet fit???

Does 82 have the dimmer switch in the column ???
maybe that why the part # is different cuz the 78 would have the rubber for the dimmer switch thats on the floor

Re: Will this Carpet fit???

most carpet kits sold don't have holes in them. Different PN's would indicate different years and different colors availible along with different floor configurations; auto, hi hump, low hump, 4 speed, high hump, 4x4 etc...

Re: Will this Carpet fit???

I thought I answered this, but they are the same. I put 86 carpet in my 73. If the trans tunnel is the same they will fit.
