Windshield Trim

Can anyone tell me if the windshield trim (stainless) is the same on a 68 chevy as the 72.

Thanks in advance

Re: Windshield Trim

Rubber is the same on all years, 67-72. Therefore, with or without the stainless trim, the year doesn't matter.

Re: Windshield Trim

67-70 uses different trim and rubber than the 71-72 does. One has a deeper tail on the trim and uses a deeper groove in the rubber. As long as the rubber year range matches the trim year range no problem. Don't remember any measurements, but they are different.

Re: Windshield Trim

I assumed....and you know what that means. I was unaware that there was a difference in the latter 2 years. But thanks for clarifying that. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to be be responsible for someone wasting money on my word.

Re: Windshield Trim

Thanks guys...I went ahead and bought the trim but at least I don't have to wait for it to arrive before I found out it won't fit. Gives me time to fine a trim that fits.....
