I need some under the hood help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Alright well I'm about to buy these Chevy valve covers and i cant seem to find a good Chevy air cleaner to go along with it. Any ideas?

A smooth top air cleaner will work well with them. I haevn't found one that is scripted like that yet.

Those are nice! Where did you find them? I like the way the old Chevrolet script looks on those! I'm going to be getting an old 327 from my machinist before long and those would look fantastic on it! ...Joe

I STRONGLY encourage you to sign up for the **FREE** Jegs catalog, they have a couple air cleaners that match that. As a matter of fact they have a set which consists of the Valve Covers & Air Cleaner, only downside is that they don't make them for a 454 BBC!!! *sigh*

I got them from Billet Specialistes they have alot of really nice stuff there

i tihnk it was auto zone or discount, but i put 2 "K&N" type filters on mine they are chrome about 2.5 in diameter and a.75 hieght

i have cleaned them about 4 times now, their holding up very well.
