What offset do I need for 6 lug on my truck?
i am looking to buy some 20inch rims for my truck. there are so many differen't offsets. will a regular 6 bolt pattern work for my truck??? also im converting to disc brakes up front but planne don going with 6 lug disc brakes so I could keep my factory drums in the back. will both of these allow for any 6 lug pattern wheel or specific offsets?

I don't have Twenties, but I have an 8-inch wide wheel up front, with a 4-inch backspace. Out back, the wheels are 10 inches wide, with a 5-inch backspace.

Re: What offset do I need for 6 lug on my truck?
6 on 5.5 is the bolt pattern. The issue becomes one in which the wheel is hub-centric or lug-centric, which means does the hub do the centering of the wheel or do the wheel lugs/nuts do it? If the wheel is hub-centric, you have to be sure that the wheel will mount to your hubs. There should be a buncha threads on here that people have posted to about which wheels will fit.
If nothing else, go to www.tirerack.com and play with the site and see what they say will fit. If you looked at www.summitracing.com at some wheels, you'll find that they will state "pre-71 truck", for the 6-lug wheels that will fit.
