Im leary about shipping it as this is definately a fragile item. Im gonna give it a week or so for a local sale, then I will get back to you guys in order.

For the locals, im in Santa Clarita, 30mi. N. of Los Angeles.

Part # 3990700 on the box is for 71-72 inner grille?

I bought this at the Pomona Auto swapmeet some years back form a vendor selling all kinds of NOS Chevrolet parts, he may have had the boxes mixed up?

If theres a way to tell for sure that its in fact OEM, I will be happy to verify, I purchased it believing it was OEM, and im sure it actually is, but as the good seller I am, I want to be 100% straight up.

I am not doubting it's authenticity, it is a nice looking grille. I have never seen an OEM out of box or repop. I just noticed the part # was for 71-72. I believe the 69-70 grille is part # 3985056 but I cannot find a different part # for the 69 and/or 70 and I know the grilles are different for between these years. I am still interested since it is a 69 grille.

I always wonder this, but the 69 and 70 inner grilles were slightly different werent they?
