If your talking about the mat 1/4 inch thick that just lays in the bed ? I have one in a 99 chevy bought it new in 1981 and have had it ever since . They work ok will flop around in the wind a little . They will mess your paint up some.

I had one in my 2006 Silverado and I absolutely loved it.

I vacuumed it out every once in a while and sprayed it down in the car wash once or twice. It was so nice jumping into the back of the truck and having that padded carpet back there.

Yes, it fit great. It was held in by industrial strength velcro. I had a topper on my truck, so I never had to worry about it blowing out, but I really don't think it would blow out even if you had no cover.

I sold my truck after a year and a half to get rid of my car payments, but I never had any complaints about the bed rug.

Cool, I plan to run a tonneau cover so I have no fear of it blowing out

Orange has one in his 71 GMC. Give him a shout. I'm sure he has pics.
