Story and Pictures of my truck

Heres the story 1991 GMC 1500 SWB 2wd

recently bought the truck off the 2nd owner my dad works with, for $1500
He had been driving it 50 miles each way every day to and from work for many many years. he put 200,000 on it. he purchased it with just below 100,000 on it from the orig. owner

It has the 350 TBI mated up to the 5 speed nv3500 or getrag 290 whatever it is.

odometer says 343,000.....IT HASNT WORKED IN 4 YEARS. trucks been driven 100 miles every day since the odo quit workin... so im saying it has 400,000 or more on an untouched engine and 5 speed.

The engine runs flawless. has high compression. the tranny makes noise goes into all gears good. rear is factory 3.42 POSI 10 bolt. rebuilt in 2003. it is lowered 2 inch in back. very peppy truck to drive. the gears are perfect. engine has bad throttle response but is full of power when you want it.

when i get my license my 11th grade year it'll be fixed by then and ill be driving it. heres some pics. interesting story huh? LONG LIVE THE 350 TBI !!! this is the 4th one in my family with over 250,000 on it. glad to be part of this forum
