I know I've seen people ask a lot about shipping vehicles. Anybody have a good idea or company for shipping larger trucks, like a 1 1/2 ton or a 2 ton (with dual rear wheels). DAR, for example, wont do it. I tried another company, can't remember who, but they were really expensive. Just wondered if anybody had any experience in transporting these bigger trucks? Thanks.

I'd think something like that would have to go on a lowboy or a dropdeck or something like that due to the width, length and weight of it. I did haul a 18' motor home on a car trailer once, but it was a pretty good workout for the pickup I was pulling it with.........dang old f@rd didn't take the stress.....rod bearing went south about a week after hauling the motor home.

Try Hot Shot express out of Spring City Pa.They haul Conversion vans and duallys on drop decks.

You could ask about shipping it with the outer dauls removed and tossed in the cab or on the bed/chassis.
