Where is Paint Code Located - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I've looked all over and can't find it. Where should it be.

On my 78 K5 it is located in the glove box.
I think that there should be a tag around the fire wall with a bunch of codes on it.
If there is the paint code will be U10 L10(for white) If your rig is two tone then the U and L will have two different #'s.
U & L stands for upper and lower.
