question for who ever can help
hey ya all i'm in the middle of dropping in a 6.0 chevy (2005) into my bagged and bodydropped 72' suburban When i lay it out the oil pan hits the ground (no good for draggin sessions) is there some one who makes a shorter pan (would like about two inches or so clearence) that would fit i'm sure someone has run into this problem before PLEASE HELP or do i have to have it sectioned was told a camaro pan was shorter??? will it fit and hold enough????? any directions would be much appreciated thx dave

Yes, you can use a oil pan off of a camaro or a corvette. Corvette pans are wider but not as deep. I had to go with a camaro oil pan on my corvette ls1 in order to make it fit

1sik52 u didn't have to raise the engine ??? and what year camaro pan did u use??? thx for the help
