6 cyl power steering bracket question
I am not overly familiar with the sixes so I have a question for the 6cyl guru's...
Are these brackets off of the "intregal head" 250? or a 292?? I know they do not fit the 260 in my 69.. Thanks!!! |

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket question
If they fit the old style 250 I would be interested if you decide to sell

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket question
are they 250 integral heads? I have a set that I sold last year to a gent and he says that they are integral head brackets and they look different than yours...i'm trying to figure it out as well since I didn't know there was a difference.... Also trying to avoid a bad deal for the guy... Do you have a picture of the engine that you tried to mount them on?

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket question
I am new to the 6cyl world so I have been going by what I find on ebay and asking questions, I have not tried to mount mine on anything as just looking at them I knew they would not work on my non integral head 250.
here is a set like yours on ebay saying 1975 and up integral head: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...mZ160296135459 Here is a set like the one I found on an early 70's nova which is now on my 69 250.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...mZ360104208722 and here is a set on ebay that looked like mine, but upon closer inspection they are different.. I emailed him and he said that they were off of a 1977 250 integral head: So I have no clue what mine are off of..hmmmmmmmmm http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/74-80...mZ150306252269 whew, I didnt realize there were so many different 6 cylinder brackets.. Would you happen to have any 250 non integral head AC brackets? Thanks! Mark Last edited by Livrat; 11-04-2008 at 01:36 AM. |

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket question
292 regular and integeral are different from each other and from the 250's also.Want more choices?None that work.
I looked for a while befor finding a set for a 250.I even found a few for the integeral head ones. They aren't rare but they ain't common either.
