Does anyone make a hide a hitch for the 73-87 trucks like the ones for 67-72 styles?

not exactly one for me either but my current daily driver has one and I`ve used it alot so I started thinking I might want to try to find one. I just didn`t know of anyone made one for these years. I`m pretty new to these years.

When you get the hitch, tell them you saw it installed in the thread from this board.

The hitch linked in post two may not be a hitch that is hidden behind the bumper. The company "Hidden Hitch" makes hitches for a lot of vehicles, and very few of their models hide behind a bumper. I have one on our Windstar, and it's a nice hitch that tucks up under the bumper, but it does not hide behind the bumper.

Thanks. I have been learning about the "hidden Hitch" brand and it seems as if it`s not a hidden one as you said. I think I`m going to do what SCOTI did.

Will do. Did you send them the instructions along with the mods needed to fit these year trucks? I saw that you mentioned doing that in the other thread.

I've spoken w/ECE (Mark & Stan) about it. I was actually trying to get them to cut the material out @ the point of manufacture & offer this for 73-87's to make it easier on the end user & create more opportunities for ECE.

That's why I suggest bringing it to their attention. The more people that do, the greater the possibility that ECE might revise the product line & include the later model 'classics'. It starts w/the hitch, but could move to other items.
