Any one know what this package is?

When I bought my 70 Longhorn it came with this package, It shows all the dimensions for C20 and K20's, pickups, Suburbans and Panels. Its dated October 1969. I was thinking it was a Canadian thing because in the same package was a leter from GM Canada dated 2003. It lists all the original specs... Its prety cool, tells me When it was made, shipped, to where, to who. Ill post a picture later.

Re: Any one know what this package is?

Looks like a restoration package from GM Canada. I believe this package is only available for GM vehicles sold in Canada. I tried to get one for my 67 Camaro but had no luck because the car came from California. I believe the package costs about 100.00. If I recall correctly the guy told me that GM in the U.S. didn't keep track of their vehicles until the late 70's.

The page with the specifications on it is a copy from the manual that dealerships used. It detailed all of the trucks, from El Caminos, G-series vans, P-series, and C/K series. Pricing, weights, options, colors, etc., were all part of the book. You have a copy of one page.

Its about 40 pages. Has sheets with all the options that were avalable and there costs, paint colours, interior, base model info. Its got a power teams page with info about what gears came in what truck with what engine and trans combo. Its packed full of info. I thought these were comon, I would love to have one of each, for all the years.

the restoration packet is the book.
The printout of the vehicle info is a canadian only piece.
