Talking

Hey, your talking to a chemist. I know math.

Okay, it was simple. Go to this page. http://www.tciauto.com/tech_info/speedo_gears.htm

You can use the page to calibrate any 350th, 400TH or 700R4 for just about any tire size. Just plug in the numbers.
For example:
If I use a 17 tooth drive gear with 3.08 ratio and 26 inch tire the drive gear is 40.57 or approximately 40 or 41 tooth gear. Depending on which way you want your speed to read. A little fast or a little slow.
Okay now take an 18 tooth drive gear with the same info and you get 42.98. Now that is really closer to a whole number (43). The closer to a whole number you get the better the speedo will read. To find your combo just place with the drive gear number until you get close to a whole number for the driven tooth gear.
