Blower relay?

Ok, I've noticed something in my truck. I can turn on my blower motor without the truck on whatsoever and it's stays on high through all the stages. It's either barely blowing or starting a tornado in my cab and I replaced the relay but to no avail. Any other ideas on this?

Also my wipers will run without the truck on and I was told that we can add pulse boards and switch out the wiper switch and have intermmitent wipers. Anyone heard of or done this?

Also, my heater doesn't get very warm, maybe my heater core is going out?

Re: Blower relay?

The switch itself could be corroded. I think they can be replaced without replacing the entire control head. The PO may have also wired it direct to a battery terminal on the fuse box.

As for lack of heat, I would check 1] the coolant level, and 2] the cables that control the heat control door. Sometimes the adjustments on those cables can loosen up. You might have the level slid all the way over to heat, but the door might only be cracked open.

Can't think of much on the wipers others than a PO may have wired it to a battery terminal on the fuse box also.
