New to the So Cal area

I just got transfered from VA Beach to San Diego area. It's been awhile since I've been on the board do to some deployments and moving...and it's looking like I might be gone for another 6 months coming up here pretty soon. I know there's a ton of members out here on the west coast. I'm looking to maybe get into a truck club or even just find some people who like to hang out and work on their trucks.

Welcome to California, did you bring any LWB bed sides ? If you forgot them, you can stay but we will need them before you join a club.

Sweepers sweepers man your brooms!!!
God it took me years to get those words out of my head!!

How is the Navy treating you guy's? Is it still
a good place to be?
I spent 6 years as a Fire Control Technician,
and loved nearly every minute of it.
It would have been cool to be in a truck club while in.

Wish I was in San Diego to join ya!

Well all I can say is the Navy is treating me pretty good so far, then again I'm doing back to back sea tours. So I'm not like most squids.

I hope I'll get to meet some of y'all at the auto swap, I'll be there sometime on Sat. . It would be really cool to get some type of club together. Or even just a cook out where we could bring our trucks and maybe throw back a couple of cold ones.

Man I miss SD I retired out of there in 95 off the NTC base before it closed... Spent 10 years on and off in SD I guess that was part of being a Ping Jockey...... I am thinking of coming out there this year for our convention..... Would like to meet some of you if I do... I didn't have a truck when I was there I worked on a 67 Mustang.....
