Rick's 1972 SWB GMC Truck build Thread
I posted some pictures of my truck frame on my blog today.
I appreciate everyone who has helped me out by answering my questions so far. I have been working on my truck for about 3 years. I have already rebuilt the engine. The truck has been completely disassembled. The frame has been sand-blasted and painted as well as the steering and suspension components. The frame is painted with POR-15. Most of the remaining components have been painted with Eastwood Chassis Black paint. I have been using a $10 detail paint gun from HF with the Eastwood paint with great success. Not a single paint run so far. I am in the process of converting the truck from leaf spring to trailing arm suspension. Enjoy the pictures! http://ram92.ods.org/2008/11/1972-gm...e-are-few.html
