Bastrop Area Cruisers Veteran's Day Car Show

My wife and I participated in this show Saturday with our "survivor" '62 Comet S-22. There were over 300 cars there. There were only a handful of 67-72 trucks. I attached a few pics of the nicer Chevy trucks. that's me by the red and white GMC. The red truck was a 70 CST with many mods. 1 pc windows, shaved drip rails, smoothed tailgate... I never caught up with the owner, and it was hard to get a good pic, as people were all over it! I forgot to look at the info card to see where the owner was from. It was SUPER SHARP!!! This was a great show, nice weather in the 80's, sunny, and friendly folks. I recommend it to anyone in the Austin to Houston area.

Re: Bastrop Area Cruisers Veteran's Day Car Show

Hey Wideside I am only about 25 miles from Bastrop right now, but my truck is in Bremond and I'm working a shutdown in Elgin (7 12's) for 90 days. Wish I could have made it. Looks like there were some very nice trucks there.
