Picked up one
After some long Horse Trading....I picked up this 67 short bed this A.M......Not really sure what i am going to do with it at this point....I have always secretly wanted a Short Bed Step Side.....(I am long bed dude). At any rate we will see....Its in ok shape nothing to brag about. It has a later model 350/350 turbo...Seemed to run ok after i got it home.....But for what i got in it ....I dont think i could go wrong........Anyways here are a few pics....Oh........i need a bed.........

Re: Picked up one
Looks like it's got good bones. You can start with a clean slate and make your own master piece.

Re: Picked up one
well, you got you a short box, something about 9 out of 10 of us want , and you want a long bed, go figure, well, I guess to each his own. I just hope you learn to appreciate the looks of a shorty,
I would love to find a 67-68 shorty, that is my next project truck, good luck on the build , if you decide to go that route... Hope to see future pictures as the progression goes. |

Re: Picked up one
I dont want a long bed i HAVE one....This thing was just a deal i found....Jamie it was on Craigs List in Indy...Right now Sweet Pea is Priority.....Bar none....And this truck has nothing to do with that build....What so ever.....I am a long bed guy.....Always have been prolly always will be...Project Sweet Pea is very close to being done..
( its a long bed) ....Should be Painted with in the next 2-3 weeks....If i ever quit messing with other stuff......... This truck was an impulse deal....I have always wanted to do a Step Side Tubbed.( my first truck was a 67 Step Side........I have no idea when i will get to this truck or if i ever will.......And to just let the cat out of the bag.......I got 500 dollars worth of guns in it........Thats it.......I traded a few shot guns for it and a guitar.....The guy wanted 2500 for it....And i told him he was HIGH.....But he had what i wanted and i had what he wanted.........So i traded......My whole thinking on this was a (future) project or ????? And with the ever growing prices on the short beds i just acted......It seems to run fine....And although i assume it has a 3500 stahl in it....LOL it drives ok.....I figured 67 short wheel base it was money in the bank........
