Help With Power Steering Leak

I was hoping someone here could help me with this power steering leak.

I've changed out my pump and gearbox on a 69 C10. I seem to have a leak at the gearbox where the low pressure hose fitting goes into the gearbox. It appears as if fluid is coming up between the compression nut and the tubing. If I try and continue to tighten the compression nut, the threads on the nut will strip (I've gone through several fittings). I'm starting to think something may be wrong with the gearbox, but not sure. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Re: Help With Power Steering Leak

Pull the gear box and check the fitting - It may have been cross threaded and needs to be repaired

Thanks for the response. Guess I'll try and get it done this weekend.
