Post 77 1/2 ton 4x4 question

Hey y'all,
I got some questions about my truck. My truck has the "auto" hubs on it, does this mean it has a 203t-case?
When i turn my wheels either left or right and get the gas it tries to "walk" or "wobble"( like when you lock in and turn real sharp) except i don't have to turn sharp. A decent and it will do this,I really like the 4x4 set up all i got to do is throw it in 4H and all 4 seem to pull, but when in 2H it seems to pull in the front axle. is this possibe? My dad said that some K10's were like this, I know i cleaned the T-case and it had C/K 10 wrote on it with some sort of paint.Could'nt find anything that said 203 or anything I was just wondering if the walking was something to be conserned about or if it was just the way these trucks was with auto hubs. Thanks conoverbandit

Its sounds like you have a 208 t-case. The 203 didn't come with atuo hubs or a 2WD feature. And the 205 had manual locking hubs. Check to see if you have a aluminum case. If so.. its a 208.
To fix the front end from walking is to change out the auto hubs and replace with some manual locking hubs. This will let the tires run more freely and will save wear and tear on the drive train and save money in the long run.
Also, in my opnion.. Both the 203 and 208 are just plain junk!! 205 t-case is the way to go. For strenght and very dependable. Hope this helps.. Rock on people!!!!

Sounds to me like someone put a junk yard(the yellow paint markings)205 in a full time 4X4 truck,Is it possible a previous owner did that.I've never seen a 77 with auto hubs.
