I would older a 9 inch from Moser what ever width you wand then do trailing arms coilovers and an anti roll. I think you will have wheel hop with the leaf springs.

Re: Bolt In 12 Bolt Or 9" Rear
Not hardly anyone leaves these trucks stock height and I think the varying ride height would cause pinion angle problems. If you order a housing the right length the only welding would be the pan hard bar and the saddles for the trailing arms.

Re: Bolt In 12 Bolt Or 9" Rear
yeah, I allready have a set of trailing arms and a 4-6 lowering kit from CCP,as well as the cross frame bar where trailing arms attach, what the trick to setting the pinion angle if I Get a 9" and weld the mount points on for the trail arms? Get it all in there and tack it where it looks good? I Have a Lift and transjack here at the house so it would be fairly easy.

Re: Bolt In 12 Bolt Or 9" Rear
you can probably bolt it up without tacking it till you set the angle with a gauge. You really need a lift that leaves the chassis loaded like they use at allot of muffler shops. Or jack it up and sit it on cinder blocks or wood boxes.

I also have a Moser Fab 9 in my truck. Truck had leaf springs but I went with ladder bars that are fully adjustable, works well for me so far.

You big block guys are making me think I should sell my LS1 and go old school big block. But then again, it is fun seeing the face of some big block guys when I go around them. I thought I was going to get pounded by a very nice sounding big block on spray. Ended up passing him by the 1/8 mile marker.
