west coast mirrors

i just got back from a swap meet and i picked up some west coast style mirrors and a later model fm radio. Any way on the mirrors the brackets are almost a whole 4-5 inches longer than the ones for the other side, do these go on the passenger side of the truck?

I have only seen matched sets. You might have 1 JR and 1 West coast mirror bracket maybe.
