To mirror or not to mirror

I currently do not have mirrors on my truck and have been toying around with the idea of putting them back on. The question is, which ones. Does anyone have any thoughts.

Here's a pic.

Re: To mirror or not to mirror

I am not a big fan of aftermarket mirrors on our trucks unless it's really custom. Since you have the stock bumpers, handles, etc I would go with the stock square mirrors. They are unobtrusive and better than nothing for visibility. Not by much though...

My truck is not driven very much either. It is not a matter of visibility, just for some reason the area looks bare to me. It could just be a phase I am going through. Thanks for the compliment on the truck.

If you had a one pec side windows and no vent windows, then I would say keep them off. But with a vent window it just dose not look right with out them.

They look cool, but are absolutely useless. I had a set and threw them away.

Re: To mirror or not to mirror

I would go with the stock sport mirrors. Dumbos or aftermarkets would mess up the clean look of your truck IMO.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I think some mirrors like the ones ken has on his truck would look right at home on yours too. Just my .02 cents man.

Eraly Camaro/Nova mirrors are nice looking but they are round. Those would match a 73-80 truck perfectly with the round headlight, bumpers, etc. Square bumpers and headlights look better with a square mirror, but I am anal about those type of things all matching.

Re: To mirror or not to mirror

I like the stock little square mirrors since you have the door handles and bumpers. but it looks really clean without them.

Re: To mirror or not to mirror

i vote no mirrors since visibility is not the issue. Plus the clean shaven look of the truck.
