Long Tube Headers For '72 K20
Wondering if any one has used the Hooker long tube headers in a k20. The reason I'm asking is I have a set of Hedman Hustler headers that I paid a grand for and they don't fit. The headers fit in the frame nice but they are too long and interfere with the t-case cross member / belly bar.

I have Hedman headers on my K20 and the collectors end by the starter, they don't hang down like yours. Mine aren't the Hustlers thou. I had Hookers on my 2 wheel drive and they were real close to the tranny crossmember.

Re: Long Tube Headers For '72 K20
I had a similar problem with the headers off my '72 when I tried to put them on the 4X4. they stopped about 1" from the X-fer cross member. I know people run the 4X4's with headers. I was told to get headers for a chevelle... but I've never tried it to know that it works.
