New to the forum, Pics of my 1974 chevy
Hello every one I am new to the forum and new to having a chevy truck. To be honest my first truck was a 1968 Ford, after having it for 2 years I traded it for a 1969 oldsmobile 98. After driving the olds for a couple months I realized that I liked driving a truck better so I found this truck and traded. It is a 1974 C20 it has a rebuilt 350, new paint, new interior but I am going to have it redone. it is a 4x4. here are some pics of it, the first picture is the 1969 oldsmobile that I traded for the truck. please let me know what you guys think.

Hey welcome to the boards from MT. Awesome looking truck. I love the round headlights and the body my favorite years. Looks like its pretty clean. Any major plans for it? Nice looking olds too.

Re: New to the forum, Pics of my 1974 chevy
Welcome to the board from Mo.! Looks like you definately got the better end of the deal to me! Definately a keeper! Great looking truck! I used to own a '77 K20 that was just like it. Mine had a 350/TH350 NP 205 transfer case, 14 bolt full float rear end, and a Dana 44 front axle with 4.10 gears.Tough old truck for sure! I now own a 1986 K10 shortbed. What are your plans for your truck if any? ...Joe

Re: New to the forum, Pics of my 1974 chevy
First thing I am going to do is the front brakes the rears are good but the front needs new discs and calipers then I am going to have dual exhaust put on it with 40 series flowmaster mufflers and I am thinking about headers, what do you guys think? all so i am not sure where I want the exaust to exit either behind the rear tire at a slight angle or straight out the back , what do you guys think would look better? and then I want to have the seat redone to look original with black vinyl, the seat looks ok now but it was a home made job and I like my classic cars more original.

Welcome to the forum blue74chevy. Nice list of rides you have (or had). You should have picked a more generic screen name the way you like to trade rides.
