I know this is a 60-63, but what year is it really, can you tell?

Thanks,

It has a 1963 grille.

Did it follow you home?

Re: What year

Ha, no.

Looks like this now. I guess I have a 63 cab with a 61 grill and 65 frame/bed and motor.

I have the original Hybrid.

Re: What year

the first digit of the vin should state the actual year of the cab (0,1,2,or3) then the same with the vin that is on the driver frame rail.
for the most part though right now it looks like a 61 with the 62 on dealer replacement hood.
( after the new hood came out in 62, you could no longer get the 60-61 hood as a replacement part from the dealer)

Re: What year

The VIN has it as a 65. The frame and the motor and the bed are a 65 and when the guy put the new cab on, he riveted the VIN back on from the 65 he had.

It had plenty of rust. Here is the body work that was done.
