Re: honest opinions needed
Frank, I will check for you tomorrow.
The rims do have some curb rash, but nothing some fine grit sandpaper or disc won't clean up easily. I will post better pictures tomorrow for you.

Re: honest opinions needed
Sorry that I told you wrong. At least I wasn't the only one. I actually think if you put 275s on there, they would still work and look good, but I don't know how far you wanna drop it. So you measured them and he was exact, huh? They must have a really really think mounting hub.

Re: honest opinions needed
If anyone is still following this sad saga, here is the latest update. I picked up a set of 15x7 plain steel wheels, 88+ vintage I believe (no bumps in the center for hubcaps, unlike the 73-87 variation). I will more than likely run these with a 1" spacer on the rear to even up the narrower rear track width. I will either run spider caps and rings, or perhaps the stock center caps and rings (leaning towards the spiders though). I would ideally like to find an 8" pair for the rear, but have been told they do not exist. Any truth to this?
Oh, and Frank, here are some pics.
