Pic of 64 in 1983
Just found this pic at my parents house. This is how the truck looked when I learned to drive and all during high school. The other pic is now. Got a long way to go to get it back like I want her.
Thanks, HB |

Re: Pic of 64 in 1983
Not really much to see. All I have done is sand a little and prime it all one color. My Dad and I started about 1990 and I got married in 91 and the truck set in pieces till last year. Got the motor running and put a new clutch in it. Now I'm getting it street legal (brakes, lights, etc) and hope to start body work (panel replacement) next spring.
Thanks, HB |

Sweet!
I am building the Sky Blue '64, that my Grandfather bought new, as well. It is stripped to the frame right now. Nice to see another heirloom. ![]()

Yea, every time I drive or sit in this truck it brings back alot of memories. My pops said he has a pic from about 68 or 69 with the original steel wheels and solid blue paint. It came solid and he changed it sometime in the 70s. I will try to post that pic. You got any before pics of yours?
Thanks HB |

Couple, but not digital. :|
The visor has all the oil changes logged. The 230/3 on the tree, is giving way to 327/T5 with a 3:73 posi. Just scored some Torque Thrust wheels, so Sir will not have all the fun. ![]()

Rogue64, that thing will be fun to drive with a 327 and T5. I'm keeping the 283 and 3 on the tree for now.

Yep I'm building it just like I want.
Still "Paw-Paw Pete's" truck, but with my twist. Quick enough, but economical to drive to the Pile-up, etc. ![]() also it will handle, tow and be tame enough for my wife to drive. I have to stay focused, and not short cut. ![]()
