I6 Head Question

is this a non integral head? would it fit my 81 250? also, would an A/C unit from a 89 fit into a 81? how hard would this be?

It is a 292 head and all of them are non-integrated.
I would have to look it up, but I don't think you would want to use the 292 on your block eventhough it would probably bolt up.

Yes it is a non-integrated head.
Yes it will bolt on and work fine. You will need an intake and a carb if yours is a 2 barrel.
THe only issue with this head is that it has the AIR ports that will need to be plugged.
Also watch the shipping, these are heavy!

D13, I was thinking the chambers would be to open for the 250, I don't know off hand though.

Not knowing the casting number, we'll have to guess. But, look at this..

All the 6's except the 194 have one of a couple common chamber sizes, 72.4 to 74cc's. Since they are late models (AIR ports) they probably have the bigger chambers. But then again they've been planed. I dont suspect there is much appreciable difference in CR.
