what is the best coil for a unilite?
any ideas? id like to keep it below the 150.00 range. no idea what im talking about when it comes to ignition stuff can someone help me

Just about any HiPo coil will work, I run MSD with a Pertronics trigger. Just beware you have good clean power going to the Unilite. A voltage spike could burn out the light emitter.

alright thanks a lot, so maybe i should invest in a mallory voltage spike thingy deal. so that doesnt happen

I have a mallory promaster ignition coil that is a little smaller than a motorcycle battery. If you are interested in it, I would take $20 plus actual shipping.

I bought it new in 95 or 96. Ran it for a couple of years on a mustang, then put it on the shelf. I guess it's probably 7 or 8 years old.
