Oil Gauge
Anyone out there know if an after market oil line (plastic) will work or do i need to get a copper one...thanks!

I would use copper. I have a low opinion of the plastic tubing. GM used nothing but copper for years.

I used plastic for awhile because I had it lying around. I switched it to copper though and wouldn't do plastic again. I think I paid less than $10 for the copper line and it's really easy to bend. I was always worried about the plastic rubbing something and getting a hole in it. Go copper; just my .02

Yep, go copper. But if you must have the plastic line, I'll give you the one from my Camaro as it's getting copper in the near future.

I had plastic let go a long time ago. Not fun, & what a mess. Ever since then, I use copper.

I agree with all of the above... The only time I've had an oil leak in my vehicle was whith a nylon oil tube. Oh, and when I buggered up the threads on a copper line.

I had the plastic line bust years ago in my 66 Mustang.50 psi and carpet don't mix very well. Go copper, it wont let you down.
