Re: Just Bought a New Toy !!!!

We are back home and wow, is this Tahoe ever nice. Its tight as a drum and rides and handles like a sports car and that is exactly what it should do with the Z56 Police Suspension Package. I took it for the very thorough provincial safety inspection yesterday and it didn't need a thing. On the Interstates
I was driving between 75 and 80 miles an hour and averaged 18 MPG US
( 21 MPG CDN ) on the 1800 mile trip home. Driving on the I15 up through Idaho and into Montana she was cutting the 50 MPH corners at 65/70 MPH with no body lean or loss of stability.

CMart I plan to keep this vehicle a long time and basically enjoy it just the way it is. I may put a K & N Filter charger system and throttle plate on it to get a little more jam and mileage from her but other than that she will be my summer daily driver and stored for the Winters so yes NUKE2 you may see her around Saskatoon in the summer months and if you do see me stop and say hi.

I took a couple of pics on the way home. The first one is me doing something I've always wanted to do and that is drive down "Russian Hill" on Lombard street in San Francisco. THe one with the mountains in the back is near Lake Tahoe, Nevada and lastly near Craters of the Moon in Idaho.
