What can I spend $500 on?
I have a '67 swb. Holidays are coming up, and I need $500 gone...lol. Should be easy, but its not really easy to me. I have a air bag kit, just a basic in place of all 4 coils, nothing crazy. I have had this truck for 13 years, and its all the same. I just need ideas, to maybe help me out. I'd like to lay this thing out, but don't think $500 would get to far. I'm done on back just need front to lay.

Sending $25 of it to the board to become a full member would be a good start. Last edited by Shane; 11-26-2008 at 12:53 PM. |

Drop spindles with bags will set the crossmember on the ground. If you already have discs it won't be too steep. A new conversion cost about $700 a couple of years ago. I haven't priced one in a while.

Re: What can I spend $500 on?
I did post this on 2 forums. Its a 2 forum question...lol. I love the bumper with lights. I found on Ebay for a lot cheaper, but back out of buying it. I wish I didn't because I like the look, and extra lighting.
I don't have spindles so I may get thoughs and see where I stand money wise. I want to lay out more than anything right now, so that may be my best bet. What size drop spindels? 3in? so I can drop the cross member on the pavement. |

Re: What can I spend $500 on?
I think I remember how it feels to have money burning a hole in my pocket (been married for nearly 8 years, so those memories are fading fast!).
Do yourself a favor, take the time to sit down and make a detailed parts list of what parts you'll need to reach your end goal. Next, organize that list so that you buy the parts in the appropriate order. Once you have your list, you will know exactly what part is next and how much money you can spend... or need to save!
