vent window rivits and seal procedure

Does anyone have any input on replacing the rubber and felt on both the vent window and door glass on a 72 gmc truck?
I have new rubber, felt and rivits but no instruction, I already have dissassembled the vent window from the frame and reay to start drilling rivits.
