92 RCLB Fuel gauge?

On my 92 when I accelerate from a stop or come to a stop the fuel gauge needle does a wide sweep of the gauge. I have a new pump and sender and all grounds are good. I'd swear I can feel the gas moving in the tank and slapping end to end. Are these tanks baffled? I am aware of the vibrating needle problem but that's something completely different than this. Does anybody with more experience in the OBS trucks than I have know if a new fuel tank would cure something like this. I'm thinking maybe the baffles have become damaged.....If they ever had bafffles.
